Tar Heels Both Finish and Start StrongUNC held their own this year and we’re happy to be playing in the 2014 Quick Lane Bowl. The Tar Heels face off against Rutgers University at Ford Field in Detroit on Friday, December 26 at 4:30 PM. The game will air nationally on ESPN.

This is head coach Larry Fedora’s second bowl game with the Tar Heels. They’ve won 2 of their last 3 bowl games and a strong defense is contingent to pulling out a win in the last and arguable most prominent game of the season. Tickets to the Quick Lane Bowl are still available, and going for as low as $35! Don’t miss your last chance to see ‘Heels football in 2014.

More importantly for some, our favorite season is here: basketball!

UNC is currently #3 on the Division 1 all-time wins list and we’ve got a 73% all-time winning percentage. We all know that the Tar Heels are made of the best: those who go on to the NBA and the Olympics and are inducted into the Hall of Fame. This year’s team sits at 6-3, still early in the 2014-2015 season.

Don’t miss a second this season! Tune into GoHeelsTV on Saturday, December 20th to see the Tar Heels play Ohio State at 1 PM. For the full schedule, including where to watch, check out the official UNC Men’s Basketball site.
