At the end of the first week of March, all of the brothers left campus to go on their highly anticipated spring break trips. Little did everyone know that would be the last week we all spent together at school this semester. As you all are aware, COVID-19 began to rapidly spread across the United States and, as a result, the university gave students an extra week of spring break and moved to an online class system. Currently, the fraternity house is shut down and most, if not all, members of the chapter are back home with their families. As trivial as it may seem during this tough time, we are still saddened that our seniors did not get to experience their last spring in Chapel Hill and say their final goodbyes to everyone.

More importantly, I hope that all of you are able to stay safe and healthy in the middle of this pandemic. While I know that many of you are continuing to work from home, it is clear that everyone has a large amount of free time on their hands now. I want to encourage you all to reach out to one another and maybe talk to someone that you otherwise might not keep up with. This period of social distancing and isolation might be tougher for some than others and I am sure than a text, phone call or email would be much appreciated by your friends.
