Vance Forbes ‘71 (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) says that he joined Sigma Nu for “old friends and roommates.”
He says that the chapter stood apart from other fraternities on campus because of “the diversity of the brotherhood.”
“My favorite memories are of spring break trips to Myrtle Beach and playing basketball in the backyard,” he says.
He says that Sigma Nu impacted his life long after graduation. “I gained business partnerships with brothers,” he says.
He says that giving back to the chapter is important to him. “I was taught that it is expected of those who have plenty to give back.”
“If more give back, we can continue the tradition,” he adds.
Without Sigma Nu, I wouldn't have half the friends I do now.
